The weekend is coming and I really wanted to bake a delicious but light cake. I found three lemons in the fridge and here it is:lemon cake with lemon cream 😉
The ingredients are:
250gr of flour
150gr of sugar
250gr of lemon yogurt
1 packet of baking powder
For the cream:
- 1 lemon
- 150gr of Philadephia
- 60gr of butter
- 70gr of sugar
Preheat oven to 180°C and grate the lemon zent.
For the cake, beat in the eggs and the sugar until light, pale and fluffy.
Now add the yogurt, the flour, the lemon juice, the lemon zent and finally the baking powder mixing with a spoon until you get an omogeneus mixture.
Bake the cake in a convection oven for 40 miutes.
For the lemon cream you can melt the butter,then add cold Philadelphia, the sugar and pour the lemon zent in it. Cool the cream in the fridge for 20 minutes before pouring it on the cake.
